Hepsiburada was founded. The first product category sold was computers.

The categories of Mother-Baby-Child, Home Electronics, Kitchenware, Music Products, Office Supplies, Sports Equipment, and Phones were added.

Products from the categories of Flower Supplies, Gifts, Books, Car Accessories, Watches & Glasses & Accessories, and Health & Beauty were made available for sale.

The basic consumer food category was added.

The 1 millionth order was delivered.

According to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Report, Hepsiburada was recognized as the "Fastest Growing E-Commerce Website."

Hepsiburada’s first mobile application was launched.

The opportunity to shop securely with one click was offered to all Hepsiburada users.

Hepsiburada was selected as "Turkey's Most Loved E-Commerce Brand" for three consecutive years at the Lovemark Awards.

Hepsiburada was chosen as the “Superbrand of the Year” at the Superbrands Turkey Awards.

In the Turkishtime Magazine survey, Hepsiburada received 20 awards across 26 categories at the Turkey’s Most Admired Online Shopping Sites Awards.

The Marketplace business model, which offers businesses the opportunity to open a store and sell their products for free, was introduced.

In the Internet Retailer Europe 500 survey, Hepsiburada was selected as the "Number 1 E-Commerce Site in Eastern Europe."

Hepsipay was established as a 100% subsidiary of Hepsiburada.

Hepsiburada was selected as the "Most Successful Brand of the Year in the E-Commerce Sector" at The One Awards.

At the Golden Spider Web Awards, Hepsiburada was selected as the "People's Favorite in the Mobile Shopping Application Category."

HepsiJET, which brings an innovative approach to transportation, started providing services.

It became the first e-commerce brand in Turkey to offer "Instant Shopping Credit."

Hepsiburada established its R&D Center.

The "Empowering Women Entrepreneurs with Technology" program, which supports women's employment and economic empowerment, was launched.

Hepsiburada was selected as the "E-Commerce Site of the Year" at the Webrazzi Awards.

Hepsimat (formerly known as Kargom Burada) was launched.

Hepsiburada won the first place in the e-commerce category at the A.L.F.A. Awards, which recognizes "Brands that Manage Customer Experience Best."

Hepsiburada was named "E-commerce Site of the Year" for two consecutive years at the Webrazzi Awards.

The "Multiple Credit Card" payment feature was launched.

E-export began with Hepsiglobal.

Hepsiburada became the only official e-commerce sales point for Apple in Turkey.

The "Empowering Women Entrepreneurs with Technology Program" was awarded the Gold Award in the "Best Initiative" category by Communicate Magazine, a prestigious corporate communications magazine in the UK.

Hepsiburada, in collaboration with the Union of Merged Brands (BMD), provided commercial, marketing, logistics, and export support to textile retailers through the "Retail Solidarity Package."

During the pandemic, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and the Governor's Office, and with the support of Hepsiburada customers, the Ramadan Solidarity Campaign was launched.

With the "Biz Bize Yeteriz Türkiyem" solidarity campaign, 500,000 surgical masks and examination gloves were donated to the Ministry of Health for healthcare workers.

As part of the Hepsimat project, collaborations were made with over 300 small businesses, in addition to many brands.

Hepsiburada was selected as the "Most Technological Online Shopping Brand" in the Tech Brand Turkey 2020 competition.

Hepsiburada won the "Most Successful E-Commerce Platform" award at the B2B Excellence Awards.

Hepsiburada's "Efsaneler Kulübü ile Efsane Başlasın" advertisement was featured on the YouTube Ads Leaderboard Turkey 2020 by Think with Google.

Hepsiburada became the first and only Turkish company to go public on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.

The HepsiTürkiye Local Products Program was launched to deliver geographically marked products to consumers all across Turkey.

HepsiJET's service network reached all 81 provinces of Turkey.

Turkey’s first platform wallet licensed by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), Hepsipay Wallet, began providing its services.

Hepsilojistik started providing services to businesses in all operational processes such as packaging, shipping, invoicing, delivery, and returns for their sales on e-commerce platforms.

Hepsipay launched the "Buy Now, Pay Later" feature.

Hepsiburada launched the "Trade and Technology Power for the Earthquake Region" program to support the provision of sustainable, lasting prosperity in the 11 provinces affected by the earthquakes that occurred on and after February 6, 2023, in Turkey.

Hepsiburada's fast, secure, and easy payment solution, "shopping companion!" Hepsipay, has reached 10 million users.

It became the first e-commerce platform in Turkey to publish a sustainability report.

Thanks to a five-year agreement with Visa, the global leader in digital payments, Hepsipay prepaid cards began to be used for shopping worldwide.

With Hepsipay, a "wallet-free" life has begun. Hepsipay's digital wallet reached 17 million users and started offering campaign and installment advantages without the need for a physical card.

It signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey for the "Turkey's Entrepreneurial Women" project.

The transfer of the majority stake of Hepsiburada to Kaspi.kz was completed, and Mikheil Lomtadze became the new Chairman of the Board of Hepsiburada.

Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin has been serving as the CEO of Hepsiburada since January 2023.

Before joining Hepsiburada, Onal spent seven years at Amazon Europe, where she successfully led major categories such as consumer electronics, insurance, apparel, and footwear. She also founded Amazon Shipping and held the position of Global Head. Prior to her career at Amazon, she held various high-level executive roles across different categories and geographies at Procter & Gamble for ten years, covering areas such as food, cosmetics, and home care products.

Among her many accolades, Nilhan Onal was featured in the 2021 list of the most successful Turkish executives worldwide (H&S - Global Turks par Excellence) and was recognized in lists of Europe’s most influential women in technology.

She graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Political Science and International Relations. She also earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Boğaziçi University and completed the "Advanced Management Program" at Harvard Business School.

Köseoğlu, lisans derecesini 1995 yılında İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliğinden aldı. 1997 yılında ise Koç Üniversitesi MBA programından mezun oldu. Kariyerine P&G'de başlayan Köseoğlu, Danone, Eczacıbaşı, AMGEN Türkiye ve AMGEN MEA gibi ilaç ve hızlı tüketim malları sektörlerinde faaliyet gösteren şirketlerin finans departmanlarında CFO'luk görevinde bulundu. Köseoğlu, Şubat ayından bu yana Hepsiburada bünyesinde Stratejik Finans Bölüm Başkanı olarak görev yapmaktaydı.

Ender Özgün

Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Ender Özgün has been serving as the Chief Commercial Officer at Hepsiburada since May 2023, after joining the company in July 2021 as the Group President of Marketing. Prior to Hepsiburada, Özgün held various positions at Vodafone Turkey, where he was most recently responsible for managing digital transformation, growth and value management, and segment strategies. He began his professional career in 2005 at Procter & Gamble, where he held various managerial roles in the Marketing department, focusing on brand management, customer experience, and communication strategy.

Özgün holds degrees in Industrial and Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University, and a Master’s degree in Brand Management and Marketing Strategies from Bahçeşehir University.

Alexey Shevenkov

Alexey Shevenkov

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Shevenkov, who has significant experience in the field of technology and has been working at Russia’s leading technology group Yandex since 2005, served as the CTO of the group’s e-commerce flagship, Yandex.Market, for the past five years. Shevenkov joined Yandex as a software developer in 2005, became the head of the software engineering department in 2009, and was appointed CTO of Yandex.Market in 2016. During his tenure at Yandex, he contributed to the launch of several e-commerce services such as Yandex.Market, Yandex.Uslugi, Yandex.Delivery, and Beru.

Before joining Yandex, Shevenkov worked as a software developer at Luxoft and completed his master's degree at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

Ocak 2021'den bu yana Hepsiburada İnsan Kaynakları Grup Başkanı olarak görev yapmakta olan Esra Beyzadeoğlu, 2018'den 2021'e kadar Alternatifbank'ta Bilgi Teknolojileri, Dijital Bankacılık, CRM ve Operasyonlardan Sorumlu Genel Müdür Yardımcısı olarak görev yapmıştır. Beyzadeoğlu, Alternatifbank, Akbank, Accenture, Ziraat Teknoloji ve Osmanlı Bankası gibi önde gelen banka ve danışmanlık firmalarında çok sayıda dijital dönüşüm projelerinin liderliği de dahil olmak üzere, çeşitli üst düzey yöneticilik rollerini üstlenmiştir.

Galatasaray Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği bölümü mezunu olan Beyzadeoğlu, Sabancı Üniversitesi'nin yönetici MBA programını tamamladı. Kendisi aynı zamanda Koç Üniversitesi'nin Liderlik Gelişim Programı'na katılmıştır.

Erkin Aydın, Haziran 2022'den bu yana Hepsi Finansal'ın CEO’luk görevini yürütmektedir. Erkin Aydın, Hepsiburada'daki görevinden önce Qatar National Bank'ın (Q.P.S.C.) Türkiye iştiraki olan QNB Finansbank A.Ş.'de yeni iş kurma, Fintech yatırımları ve şirket kurma gibi değer yaratan insiyatiflerin liderliği dahil olmak üzere çeşitli pozisyonlarda çalıştı. Ayrıca şirketin Bireysel Bankacılık, KOBİ Bankacılığı ve Ödeme Sistemleri gibi iş kollarını da yönetti. Kariyerine A.B.D.'de Clark Construction Group ile başlayan Aydın, daha sonra McKinsey & Company'ye katılarak Avrupa ve Türkiye'de strateji, pazarlama, büyüme, devir yönetimi ve M&A alanlarında çeşitli yerel ve küresel finans kuruluşlarıyla çalışmıştır.

İstanbul Boğaziçi Üniversitesi İnşaat Mühendisliği Bölümü'nden lisans derecesiyle mezun olan Aydın, University of Michigan İşletme Enstitüsü'nden de MBA derecesi almıştır.

Hakan Karadoğan, İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Elektrik Mühendisliği bölümü mezunudur. Üretim, tedarik zinciri yönetimi ve lojistik konularında 30 yıllık küresel ve yerel deneyime sahip olan Hakan Karadoğan, Areva T&D Türkiye, Areva T&D China, Alstom Grid, GE Grid Solutions gibi global markalarda üst düzey konumlarda görev aldı. Son 6 yıldır Amazon Türkiye Operasyonlar Genel Müdürü görevini yürütüyordu. 25 Mart 2024 tarihinde Hepsiburada’ya Lojistik Grubu CEO’su olarak katıldı.

Tayfun Bayazıt

Independent Board Member

Tayfun Bayazıt has been a member of our board of directors since July 2021 as an independent board member.

Mr. Bayazıt started his banking career at Citibank in 1983. He subsequently worked in executive positions within Çukurova Group for 13 consecutive years (Yapı Kredi as Senior EVP and Executive Committee Member, Interbank as CEO, Banque de Commerce et de Placements S.A. Switzerland as President and CEO). In 1999, he was appointed as the Vice Chairman of Doğan Holding and Executive Director of Dışbank. In 2001, he assumed the CEO position at Dışbank. In 2003,he was also appointed as the Chairman and was requested to remain as the CEO of Fortis Türkiye and the region in July 2005 after its acquisition. Subsequently, he was elected as the Chairman of Fortis in 2006. Mr. Bayazıt came back to YapıKredi in 2007 (at which time Yapı Kredi was a joint venture owned by UniCredit and Koç Group) as the CEO and two years later he was elected as Chairman. He served as the Chairman of all Yapı Kredi subsidiaries including Yapı Kredi Sigorta (property and casualty insurance) and Yapı Kredi Emeklilik (private pension and life) for 4 years. Yapı Kredi was the fourth largest high streetbank in Türkiye with subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Bahrain and Russia,actively involved in mortgage lending among other individual banking activities with a strong digital focus.

Mr. Bayazıt left this post in August 2011 to set up his own firm "Bayazit Consulting Services." He was then appointed as the Country Chairman for Marsh McLennan Group, Türkiye in September 2012 and now serves as the Chairman at Polisan Holding, and board member at Zorlu Holding and Boyner Holding.

He is an independent board member at Adel Kalemcilik. He is a member of TUSIAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association) High Advisory Board and takes an active role in other non-governmental organizations such as the World Resources Institute, and the Corporate Governance Association of Türkiye. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Bosphorus University and Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation.

Mr. Bayazıt holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (1980) and an MBA from Columbia University, New York (1983).
