As Türkiye's Hepsiburada, we are the first e-commerce platform in our sector to sign the UN Global Compact.

By joining the UN Global Compact (UN Global Compact) platform, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative and voluntary leadership platform, which includes more than 15 thousand companies from various sectors in 169 countries around the world, we adopt the 10 basic principles of the UN Global Compact in the fields of human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption. We position our company's strategic infrastructure and operations in line with these principles.

Since the day we were founded, we have been working for gender equality and women's empowerment in different fields from entrepreneurship to employment, education to arts, to ensure sustainable economic growth while pioneering the digitalization of trade. In 2022, we took another step in this area and became a signatory of the Empowerment Principles (WEPs).

Established in 2010 as a joint initiative of the United Nations Global Compact and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), the Women's Empowerment Principles are recognized as one of the most important global initiatives aimed at advancing gender equality to enable women to participate in economic life in all sectors and at all levels.
